Hello and welcome to a website dedicated to secretaries, receptionists, executive assistants, and administrative assistants, written and maintained by a talented (if we do say so ourselves!) team of the same! This website was the brainchild of three women who have dedicated our lives to others. No, we’re not doctors or first aid workers, but our jobs—though sometimes ridiculed and diminished in the media or even, sadly, by our peers—are important to our bosses and companies, and are the silent cogs that keep the machine running well.

 

This site will provide job secrets for secretaries and administrative assistants, advice for those new to the job, and stories and resources for anyone looking for help. The title of Executive Assistant or Administrative Assistant (we admit secretary is a bit outdated) can often cover a range of responsibilities and roles. One company’s administrative assistant might do the workload that a coordinator—or even office manager—does at another company. One receptionist might cover an entire office, or several executive’s desks, or one specific individual.
